Back on the Disabled List

I'd love to be reporting on end of the semester fishing but alas I went on the disabled list Friday. After putting it off until finals were done and grades submitted, I had surgery again on my left foot. From what I can recall of conversations with the doctor (and Pam) he found scar tissue wrapped around the nerve, removed it, cut the nerve loose from the artery & veins, and then wrapped it in a biodegradable product to give it a channel and protection from further scar tissue build up. Friday was no fun. The anesthesia made me a bit ill and took a long time to wear off. Things seem to be going well now, although I am on a lot of pain meds (so this post may not make any sense at all). My hope is to get this behind me as quickly as possible as the summer begins.
